Abstract
By taking up the figure of Habeas Corpus from its origins in Great Britain to the present time, the work makes an important reflection on this institute that is a remedy and instrument par excellence for the protection of the freedom of associates; with this starting point, a model is designed that makes this institute more democratic and keeps it away from violations through unjust deprivations of freedom, a task in which the police security forces and the judges themselves must have a positive influence when fulfilling their function.
