Abstract
The work of Prof. Dr. Helmut Satzger deals with one of the most topical issues in German criminal law: the internationalization and especially the Europeanization of criminal law. Together with Ambos' Handbook on International Criminal Law (IPL) and Hecker's Handbook on European Criminal Law, Satzger's work ranks as one of the most important German-language texts on European and international criminal law. Of these three works, all of which are benchmarks for German criminal law, Satzger's is the most concise.
