Abstract

As a product of the academic, interdisciplinary and descriptive research carried out by the Human Rights and IHL Research Group "De las Casas" of the Universidad Sergio Arboleda, the text reviewed was published, in which the author, Luis Andrés Fajardo Arturo, in four chapters, introduces us to the current and worrying issue of the recruitment of children, as well as their participation in the armed conflict. The research aims to determine whether or not the FARC's practices of forced recruitment of children coincide with the elements of the crime of unlawful recruitment, understood as a war crime in the light of the Rome Statute (ER).
