Approach and scope

She is the spokesperson for the scientific and academic concerns of the Sergio Arboleda University of Santa Marta. Its mission is to publish articles, research texts, reflection and review in the areas of human and social sciences; become a source of consultation for the community of academics of the Institution and collaborate in the improvement of the academic quality of the texts submitted with a view to qualifying the research and teaching given at the Institution.
Peer evaluation process

Each article will be reviewed first by the editor of the journal who will read it and, if so, will assign two reviewers; they will have a month to conceptualize about the scientific and linguistic quality of the text. In case of being accepted with modifications these will be made known to the author for review that will be analyzed by the editor.
Open access policy

This journal provides an open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.

History of the magazine

The magazine has published nine issues. In the first eight articles of research and scientific dissemination were published without a rigorous assignment of academic peers. Likewise, in the first eight issues some journalistic notes were published. In number 9 the journal takes the course of disclosing only and exclusively articles of research, scientific review and reflection on researches carried out or in realization. In addition, it adopts the biannual periodicity: January-July, August-December.
