Abstract
The work, after some introductory considerations in which it shows how the victim is not necessarily part of the Italian process, deals with their rights to information, to intervene against the inertia of the prosecutor, to carry out their own investigation, to influence the choice of the procedural rite and the final decision. To culminate, and always from the annotated
perspective, a study is made of the different types of victims, opportunity in which it is shown how, as the victim tends to be used instrumentally by
the political class, especially when it comes to certain types of them.
