Abstract
That in a country like Colombia, ravaged by violence and tragedy, a book should appear -even if it is destined to discuss a problem as specific as criminal law and medical responsibility- is a blessing for the soul. It is a feast for the spirit that, beyond the daily pains, we can gather in an auditorium like this one to celebrate the appearance of a work in which a young professor tells society that he is fulfilling his task as a professional, as a human being and as a teacher.
