Abstract

This paper deals with the first volume (second edition) of the Manual de Derecho Penal. Parte Especial, prepared by the research team of the University of Barcelona, composed of Mirentxu Corcoy (Director), Juan Sebastián Vera (Coordinator) Carolina Bolea, Sergi Cardenal, José Ignacio Gallego, Víctor Gómez, Dulce Santana, Silvia Fernández, David Carpio, Celia Díaz, Vicente Valiente and Carlos Castellvi. While the second book, recently published, is devoted to the development of socioeconomic crimes (corporate and business criminal law), the first (the subject of this review) deals with the rest of the punishable offenses in the Spanish Criminal Code.
