Abstract

On December 2, 1956, the Granma disembarked in Las Coloradas, a paradisiacal beach in the southeast of Cuba, a small yacht loaded with the hopes of freedom of an entire people represented by 82 expeditionary who intended to put an end to the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista, Among them, together with Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, was César Gómez, one of the last survivors of that heroic deed and who has been living in Colombia since 1961, a country to which he had to flee, accused of treason against a revolution that he himself had helped to ignite.
