For democracy and freedom in Cuba in FILBO

Abstract

The space allowed us to express our knowledge about the Cuban reality with those attending the FILBO, and although most agreed with what we wanted to expose, taking into account the statistical work, various indexes and the construction of books and articles hand in hand with Cuban civil society, there were several people who attacked us without arguments for belonging to the Sergio Arboleda University, or simply because they consider themselves akin to the Cuban regime. This raised many questions for me, for example, how is it possible to be sympathetic to a regime that violates human rights, that does not allow freedoms and where hatred is a state policy?
