Abstract

The revolution will be feminist or it will not be. At present, to think of a political project announced from the left that vindicates the rights of those who have been relegated in the system without inherently linking it to the vindication of gender is almost implausible. This has cost feminist women a tireless struggle over what it means to be a woman in political spaces predominantly occupied by men, and above all, predominantly occupied by male chauvinists. Politics is framed (like any aspect of society) by patriarchy, by the assignment of roles and by those who think that "women should be at home, because the political space is a very hostile space".
