Many people prefer the vulnerability of being a migrant to being a queer person in Venezuela": reality of non-binary people under dictatorship
Abstract
To be a non-binary person is to transcend gender, to see beyond the possibilities offered to us by cis-hetero normativity, by the binary education we have been given, which does not represent our reality. Non-binary people go beyond simply not recognizing ourselves between the labels of “man” or “woman”, we break with the stigmas and roles that have been imposed on those concepts, depending on the context in which we live.
