PEER REVIEW

EVALUATION OF ARTICLES

When sending a contribution to Vis Iuris, make sure that it complies with what is stated in the Guidelines for Authors, since this may cause more delays in the process or in its effect the rejection of it; Likewise, all authors must declare in the message of submission of the first submission, that the article is original and unpublished, that it is not submitted simultaneously to another journal and that each one has contributed substantially in its preparation. We reiterate that the act of receiving a job, does not commit Vis Iuris or any member of it to publish it.

Once verified that the manuscript complies with everything stated in the Guidelines for Authors, it is sent to anonymous reviewers of national and international origin, who preferably do not come from the institution that publishes Vis Iuris, they will practice the process under the double blind modality. The Reviewer as part of its commitment will issue its concept about the manuscript, which may suggest recommendations in relation to any part of it. You are given 20 days from the manuscript submission.

After receiving the concepts of evaluation, the authors will be answered within a period of no more than three months. Once this is notified, the concepts must be answered within a period of no more than one month. It is necessary to clarify that the time of sending the concepts to the authors is subject to the availability of reviewers.

When a negative and a positive concept is presented, the Editor of the journal, with the support of the Editorial Committee, will settle this controversy, either by sending it to a third Reviewer, accepting it or rejecting it directly, all this will be mediated by the case in question . When the article satisfactorily passes the evaluation process, it will go to style correction, layout, verification of the authors, correction of adjustments resulting from the suggestions of the authors and publication respectively. This process can take around three months. It is recalled that none of the phases of the editorial process generates any cost to the authors.
