Democracy at the limit of societies: Parameters of adoption of digitial democracy as a factor to promote citizen political participation in Colombia

Abstract

The constant threats by a new world war of the greatest global powers for economic and political power, have revealed the need to think of democracy as an obsolete system and that calls for an intervention that revolves around the needs of society, population and that correspond to its intervention context. This being the case, it is valid to think that as the population becomes accustomed to using digital democracy in their daily life, it will also be demanded in political life, that is why the present article invites you to reflect: about the possibilities of the implementation of a new political system supported by new technologies.
