A comprehensive reform of our criminal prosecution system is absolutely necessary, which is why Spain needs a completely new Criminal Procedure Act. In this article, we will discuss what organic reforms and procedural reforms would be necessary to adapt our criminal procedure to the practical reality that current complex circumstances demand.
