Abstract

Here the concept of immediacy is analyzed, as a prevalent criterion of the criminal process, as well as the limitations it has had, both in the legal and jurisprudential spheres. Moreover, the circumstance of whether or not virtuality can affect immediacy is examined, and if so, under what conditions it could be better developed.
