Abstract

Fighting against imprisonment before the final sentence is the central axis of the thirteen academic reflections contained in this volume edited and compiled by Gustavo L. Vitale and Gerardo Nicolás García, who bring together studies by experts of various nationalities, which adds to the text a comparative theoretical component that, although it was published some years ago, does not lose importance, especially in our country where preventive detention is a real penalty applicable in most cases, despite the fact that the criminal procedural law shields itself in the principle of freedom. See below the various contributions.
