Abstract
A renowned author on cross-examination considers “The Art of Cross-examination,” written by Francis L. Wellman, to be The Bible of Cross-Examination, while Irving Younger's articles and talks on the subject constitute The New Testament. Under this logic, from a secular perspective, I think that the work of Pozner and Dodd, “Cross-examination: Science and Techniques” could well be classified as the Novum Organum of cross-examination. This work is, in the opinion of the famous lawyer Barry Scheck, “simply the best book on the art and science of cross-examination ever written”4, a statement with which renowned North American authors on trial techniques agree.Downloads
