COVID-19 in Cuba and autochthonous vaccine candidates

Abstract

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cuba opted for the creation of its own vaccine candidates. In this process, certain shortcomings have become evident, such as the non-publication of reliable data and the mixing of scientific knowledge with political propaganda, against which the author highlights the importance of complying with the principles of bioethics.
