National "juncture": 1989-2019
Abstract
Since 1989, Cuba has been facing a series of major challenges related, on the one hand, to the postponement of a strategic redesign of the national State to adapt it to the new challenges of the 21st century and, on the other hand, to the conflict emanating from its historical dispute with the United States. This is a period of three decades (1989-2019) marked by the resistance of Cuban authorities to creatively insert themselves into the post-Cold War liberal world order.
