Abstract

The great enemy of authoritarian leaders is always public opinion, so when they come to power, critical citizens, who question themselves and question them, are the first factor to be "regenerated". This is how, alleging to their supposed idea of freedom, they take over the media to make them another government institution, managed not by journalists but by public officials who do what they do is to fold the (private) opinion of the authoritarian government, subordinated to the interests of the leader.
