They are killing us!

Abstract

Women are being killed in Latin America. According to the Feminicide Indicator of the Gender Equality Observatory of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), at least 2,081 women were victims of femicide last year in 14 countries. However, if this figure is added to the figure for another 9 countries in the region that only record femicides committed at the hands of the victim's partner or ex-partner, the number rises to 2,321 murdered women.
