Corruption and Transition to Democracy in Cuba

Abstract

The article focuses on informal institutions and their effects on political corruption in Cuba, highlighting the figure of "sociolismo" and patrimonialism, problems that must be solved through education in democratic values, and the creation of strong formal institutions.
