Corruption, democracy and totalitarianism
Abstract
The article presents two possible situations regarding the measurements that qualify Cuba as a less corrupt country than its peers in the region, highlighting how both are partially on the island: some dictatorships have less corruption by better controlling governance and, at the same time, the measurements often overlook indicators on Human Rights.
