Abstract

For more than 60 years, different generations of Cubans have lived under an authoritarian regime that was established as a result of a messianic discourse announcing the arrival of a new, free and renewed Cuba, but at the same time it did not take long to show the reality that was hidden behind that idyllic Cuba presented as a promised land.
