Abstract
Marianela Maldonado is a screenwriter, director and actress. She was born in Valencia, Venezuela. She studied a degree in Journalism and Visual Media at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. She worked for a few years as a reporter, but is currently a filmmaker. She lived several years in London, where she graduated with a master's degree in audiovisual scriptwriting from the National Television School of Great Britain. Among her most recent works are: The Children of Las Brisas, Once Upon a Time in Venezuela, The Flying Machine and Camas Desechas. He has won awards for his animated films and literary prizes.
