Abstract

Michael Coppedge, principal investigator of the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) project, winner of the 2016 "Best Database" award from the Comparative Politics Section of the APSA (American Political Science Association). He is a writer and lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, as well as part of the faculty of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies. In the framework of the II Congress on Democracy and Human Rights, he gave the course "Varieties of Democracy" and was interviewed by Ángela Mariottiz, student of Political Science and International Relations at Universidad Sergio Arboleda and research assistant of the Cuba Program.
