In the other territories of the country there are less numerous communities, however, in the departments of Antioquia, Caldas and Risaralda there is the Emberá Chamí indigenous population, located especially in the Alto Rio San Juan of the municipalities of Pueblo Rico and Mistrató, in the department of Risaralda, 55.1% of this population is found there (Romero, Burbano, Suarez, 2019). Like all indigenous communities in the country, the Emberá Chamí have their own legal codes and are protected by the Special Indigenous Jurisdiction, enshrined in the Political Constitution of Colombia.
