The value of dreaming: Review of the documentary “Women who dream of a country

Abstract

Cuban director Fernando Fraguela manages to take us not only into the memories of three women, but also into their expectations for the future. In the documentary “Mujeres que sueñan un país”, Fraguela presents us with the events of November 2020 that began with a hunger strike, through the stories of Katherine Bisquet, Anamely Ramos and Daniela Rojo, and the subsequent events that, in one way or another, reaffirmed the motives of struggle of these political activists.
