Cuba in figures: the work of the Network of Independent Observatories of Cuba
Abstract
It's no secret that the social and economic situation in Cuba remains critical. More than six decades of centralized policies, failed economic reforms, and a structural collapse have resulted in a landscape marked by shortages, increasing poverty, and the systematic violation of fundamental rights. The crisis on the island is no longer merely economic; it has taken on a humanitarian and human rights-violating dimension.
