Abstract
Joel Brito is a renowned Cuban activist, executive director of the International Group for Corporate Social Responsibility in Cuba (GIRSCC) and international representative of the Independent Trade Union Association of Cuba (ASIC). From exile, he has led efforts to denounce labor rights violations on the island and promote free and democratic trade unionism. His work has been instrumental in highlighting the situation of Cuban workers and demanding respect for the international conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO). In this interview, Brito shares his perspective on the deterioration of economic and social rights in Cuba, the role of independent organizations, and the importance of international solidarity in the fight for labor justice.
