Abstract

After the arrival of the revolution and with the Cold War in progress, the United States established multiple economic sanctions to put pressure on the newly installed socialist regime on the island. The following is an approach on how these sanctions have been used by the regime as an excuse to cover up its outrages against the Cuban people.
