Abstract

Edipcia Dubón is a former Nicaraguan congresswoman, activist, economist and political scientist. Noted for her work in defense of human rights and democracy, she has denounced the crimes and violations of Daniel Ortega's regime. After the government revoked her nationality, she has led the Fundación Puentes para el Desarrollo de Centroamérica (Bridges for the Development of Central America Foundation) from exile.
