Abstract
This text points to the analysis of the deindividuation to which Cuban citizens have been subjected after 1959 as a mechanism to preserve the status quo. This deindividuation begins with schooling and is reinforced in the different instances and institutions of socialization, most of which are controlled directly or indirectly by the state, guaranteeing the submission of a decitizenized population.
