Abstract

Hunger is a persistent problem that affects many parts of the world, and unfortunately Cuba is not exempt from this reality. There are several causes that contribute to the hunger situation in the country, in Cuba it has been a persistent challenge for decades, affecting the quality of life of a significant part of the population. Although the Cuban government has implemented policies to guarantee the distribution of basic foodstuffs, several structural and circumstantial causes have contributed to this problem.
