Abstract

The Cuban government has experienced numerous difficulties in its trajectory following the 1959 Revolution. Among them, the persistent problem of hunger stands out. Through this brief essay, we intend to examine some of the decisions and actions taken by the Cuban government that have contributed to the deterioration of food security and malnutrition in the population. It is important to emphasize that this analysis is not intended to be exhaustive, but rather to provide an overview of some important aspects.
