This essay examines the discourse of a certain Latin American intelligentsia and left that continues to defend the Cuban Revolution as the paradigm of "revolutionary thinking" and "socialism" of the 21st century. I analyze how the discourse of these intellectuals continue trapped in the drift of the fossilized anti-imperialist discourse of the Cold War
