Resumen

El propósito de este artículo es identificar conceptos y enfoques clave de la investigación académica en el estudio de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC). Se utilizó una técnica bibliométrica basada en la teoría de grafos para la orientación de la búsqueda y la selección de los artículos. Esta técnica reconoce las conexiones entre artículos ISI que fueron publicados sobre RSC en el periodo 2001 a 2016. Estas conexiones remiten a los autores seminales que permiten rastrear la evolución del concepto y definir los enfoques que se han manifestado en la literatura académica del management. Los principales resultados son cinco enfoques teóricos con los cuales se aborda el análisis y comprensión de la RSC: institucionalidad, reputación y desempeño, talento humano, estrategia y finanzas. Este estudio propone un método alternativo para investigar la evolución conceptual de la RSC, que sirve de antecedente a futuras investigaciones en este campo académico.
