Abstract

This study aimed to strengthen the sense of responsibility towards solid waste management of the preschool students at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Ayala Educational Institution in Villavicencio (Meta). Through a qualitative approach developed from two methodological proposals, namely Creation Research and Action Research, school activities related to the creation of two superheroes were carried out the category of school eco-hero, to which these superheroes belong, sought to raise awareness among the student community about the proper management of solid waste. As a result, the children were influenced by the eco-hero and developed an awareness of waste management in the institution.
